Mills on the Air 2022

On Saturday 7th May 2022 Six members of Nunsfield House ARG went up to Heage Windmill to operate as GB5HW as it was Windmills and Watermills on the air that weekend.

It was the first time in two years Nunsfield House ARG had put on an event station due to the covid situation.

The Club was only operating for one day only on 2 meters VHF and 40/80 meters HF from an event shelter situated in the car park.

The station GB5HW did get quite a few contacts on that day.

In the photograph Ken Frankcom G3OCA was operating on the HF band of 80 meters.
