Operating on special event call GB0CJM out of the Great British Car Journey museum.
Equipment used was a Yeasu FT991, 50watt output, through a Trap DiPole (trapped 20/40/80).
We totalled 94 contacts over the weekend over multiple bands. FT8 bore the bulk of the contacts with 51 over the two days (with the majority on the Saturday) and then the remainder being 40 meters (22 contacts by Lyndsay on Sunday afternoon)
Notable contacts included France, Northern Ireland, Eire, The Wirral, Orkney, Torquay and many many more.
We were very pleased to reach so many of the registered BIWotA stations including:
G8EJN - Mike - Great Ouze
GB8ERN - Alan - Upper Lough Erne
2E0TMM - Jim - Driffield Canal
GB0FL - Kevin - Fourteen Locks, Cymbran
We would like to give special thanks to our hosts for the weekend, the Great British Car Journey Museum. We had an utter blast and can’t wait to come back!
